“I was in town on business and had one day for touring. This trip had it all. There was a tour of the Cailler chocolate factory. We had lunch at a local farm on the side of a typically alpine mountain. It was idyllic, cows with bells, a father/son team making cheese, fondue, etc. Absolutely amazing. We followed up that feast with about 90 minutes touring Gruyere, a medieval village. The views were amazing, and the group signing in the middle of the town was enchanting. “This was a fantastic, fun day trip from Lausanne. The driver and guide was so friendly and helpful. He showed us the key spots at each stop and gladly took photos for the group, including one in Gruyeres with a fantastic view that we would have missed on our own. He even managed to squeeze in an extra stop with us being ahead of schedule. The scenery on the ride there and back was absolutely breathtaking and we loved tasting the cheese and chocolate. We really felt like we did a lot in just one day and absolutely loved it!”
